Class Descriptions:
Beginner:
For those who know a little to nothing about salsa dancing, or for
those looking to perfect their basic dancing technique. I will cover
the basics salsa step and footwork, give tips for better dancing,
and cover the fundamentals of partner work. Turn patterns will be
broken down so as to give the students an understanding of salsa
turn patterns instead of just memorizing a particular turn pattern.
Intermediate:
For those who know the basic footwork as well as the basic right
turn, left turn, and cross body leads. This class will teach more
advanced footwork, cover styling, and teach more advanced turn
patterns. These turn patters will still be introduced in a fundamental
way in order to increase understanding, followed by more advanced
versions. It is encouraged (not required) for students in this
class to also take the beginner class to perfect their fundamentals
which will make dancing and styling much easier.
Advanced:
For those who know basic and intermediate footwork, as well as
turn patterns that include the cross body lead and other patterns
involving cross body leads. This class will teach faster, more
dynamic footwork, styling, and turn patterns in a fundamental
way in order to increase understanding, followed by more advanced
versions. It is encouraged (not required) for students in this
class to also take the intermediate class to perfect their fundamentals
which will make dancing and styling much easier.
